CUTTING AFFRAY IH A SALOON FRANK PARLEY IS ASSAULTED IN THE headquarters SALOON AND IS SEVERELY WOUNDED his assailant will be arraigned on a state charge other party in the case puta up cash bond last evening frank parley was badly injured through the slashing of a knife in the hands of a man named E W sullivan sullivan and albert Rt ebbins entered the headquarters saloon on twenty fifth street about 1030 and soon after their entrance they engaged in a controversy which ended in a rough and tumble fight the result being that a slot machine was tipped over and broken frank parley the porter of the saloon started out to summons a policeman but he was met at the rear door of the place by sullivan who had preceded him in leaving the saloon sullivan knocked him down and gave him several slashes in the head and shoulders with a pocket knife none of the wounds however being serious stebbins and sullivan were both arrested but stebbins St ebbina was later released on a 50 bond he will answer to a charge of destruction of private property at 7 this evening A corn plaint has been sworn out against sullivan placing against him the state charge of assault with a deadly weapon
