McKa McKay IT IS A historic building It was here that the first Primary was organized Aug 11 1878 by John W. W Hess bishop Emeline B. B Wells Eliza R R. Snow and others Aurelia Aurclia S. S Rogers was chosen as s the first president of the Primary Originally begun for Cor the Ule bo boys s 's of which there were the girls of whom there were also were soon asked to join The general board of the Primary presented the ward with a mural of the first Primary painted by Lynn Faucett It was dedicated by bj Charles A. A Callis A A. A L. L Clark who will be 97 this May was one of the first Primary children His name is still carved in the wood but of course not where it can be seen The first Relief Society for Davis County was organized on May 11 1868 in this chapel with Sara I.
