| Show joint resolution proposing an amendment to section nine article right of the 0 the state of utah be it resolved by the legislature of the state ot utah two thirds 0 all ahe members elected to each houe thereof concurring therein section 1 the following proposition to amend the constitution ol 01 the state of utah Is hereby submitted to the qualified electora of the state for their approval or rejection darnel that section nine article right be amended so that the same shall read as follows section 9 the supreme and district courts shall have such appellate jurisdiction as may bo provided bylaw provided that from all final judgments ot the ul strict courts there shall be a right of appeal to the supreme court sec S the secretary of state Is hereby ordered to cause this to be published in at least one newspaper in every county or the state where a newspaper 1 s published for two months immediately the next general election sec 3 this proposition shall be submitted to the electors of talf state at the next fn an erel election or their approval or rejection those voting in favor of proposition shall have written or printed on their ballots for the amendment to section nine article eight of the constitution those avotins said proposition dball have written or printed on their ballots against the amendment to wc alon nine article the constitution said ballots hhall bo received and said vote shall be counted canvassed and returns thereof be made la the same manner and in all respects as to provided by law ta case of the election of state olt sec 4 this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption |
