same time proceeded onward to st louis where he had bad many other betteis to deliver in that city in st louis elder stuart went to work again in the coal mines and earned means to procure an outfit and returned to salt lake in the fall ol 01 1849 in 1819 1849 in company with several other divid david made a trip to california where he remained for several years he ile also visited mexico on the 26 of march 1853 he be was admitted to citizenship in the united stacee in the sixth judicial district court at california he ile remained in the golden state for several years doinik missionary work in that land he subsequently went on a mission to oregon on ma bla ha he was married to miss mies sarah kelee key ee at hobey lake valley oregon elder G higgins tied the nuptial knot he ile returned to oden ogden in the following october on april 20 he went on a mission to scotland and returned may 29 1803 1863 in october of the same year he was appointed to preside over the first firs t wardin
