THE RAIN WAS A GODSEND GOD SEND the salvation of some of weber countes Coun tys crops the drouth is broken and the farmery are in a happy mood today worth thousands of dollars athe people of weber county have been praying for rain for a month almost and the time rapidly comine when if rain should fall it would be of no benefit crops were drying up burning up it mi be said many of the farms yes acres and more had been practically without water tor two weeks and some for three weeks las nights rain was a godsend and farmers who yesterday were bewailing the damages to their crops are rejoicing in a new lease of life it eaves the tomato beet and fruit crops tor ten days more and is worth to weber county IM OGDEN there were some people inconvenienced by the rain but they were not numerous those who went to hunts villa got a good wetting others who stayed at home received a similar dampening elioso who were camping at the hermitage and at V ileona il sona were pretty well soaked and today there are people who slept in leaking tents who are walkine around trying to dry out wearing capes etc to keep warm
