And, when the trainer said "ready" they pushed it in to place. In this way the animal cages were placed and all was ready to. have the canvas 1 tents placed over them. This saved the circus men much bother and trouble. At the Circus By Evelyn Mace At the circus I saw a seal. The seal is a wonderful animal. It has a beautiful black glossy coat, it is a very clumsy animal but in spite of its clumsiness it can do clever tricks. A man threw a big ball to the seal and the seal caught it balanced it on his nose and tossed it back to the man. Thi act I enjoved the most of all. The Lost World By'ArnoId Antell All the boys and girls went to the matinee last Wednesday and every one-enjoyed it. We saw the monster pre-historic animals. The Lost World By Rae Cook All the children of- the Highland Boy school went to the "Lost World" on Wednesday, Oct: 7. There were monkeys and alligators and animals that lived many years ago. At the Circus By Bobbie Cotter The well trained and beautiful horses appealed to me more, than anything else at the circus. They came out and encircled the large tent, riding on each horse was a pretty girl who taught her horse to dance to the music. They could cake-walk, foxtrot and do all the latest lat-est steps. - The prettiest sight was when eight of the best trained horses went into the side rings and walked up and down around the iron rail. Number one the sarnest horse would lie down in the middle of the ring and all the other horses would come and lie clown as dead then at the crack of a whip they would be up and dancing again. Number one ridden by one of the trainers jumped twelve feet over a large bar. At the Circus Jennie Bishop I attended the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey circus in Prove. I enjoyed all the wonderful acrobatic acro-batic and the trained animals performance per-formance but best of all was the elephants at work before the tents were pitched. The circus had been delayed by the railroad so we were all on the grounds when came. The large wagons that contained the wild animals were drawn to the grounds by four large powerful horses.
