Show OREGON SHORT LIME SUED for fifteen thousand dollars by 11 T major and wife for injuries received by mrs major while a passenger on that road orders in the district court papers filed K T major and nellie major bus band and wife through their attorney john D murphy yesterday yester cay filed euit against the oregon short line railway company for the oum of damages and costs the complaint alleges that oa or about alo day of june 1897 the said plaintiff nellie was a passenger in the passenger car upon a regular passenger train operated by de en danta in idaho and alie defendant at a point near the town of glens ferry in idaho negligently and carel etly ran and operated the said train of cars apon which said nellie major wae a passenger aforesaid at a great and dangerous rate of speed over and upon a defective railway track and roadbed negligently maintained by the defendant and that one ot the cars had a broken or detective exie through which the train upon which the said nellie major was riding was derailed and the said nelie major by such cause was bruised and cut on the head and lace and was strained irr her back and eh ald buffered great bodily pain and was stunned and shocked and become und is and will be tor a long time unable to attend to her household duties aud became lame in the shoulder and back and suffered injury to her spine and her nervous system is chattered and permanently injured to her camago in the eum of |
