The case of Jungk & Salvern vs D C Reed et al, occupied the entire forenoon The case was not submitted to the JUThe case of Jungk and Fabien vs D C Reed et al, was submitted to the Alexander Adamson, a resident of Utah county and a native of England was admitted to citizenship. The suit is in relation to the ownership ol the land occupied by the American Fork bathing resort.located on the shore of Utah Lake south-west of American Fork citv. The plaintiff claims to have owned the land since 1857, but owing to th- raising and falling of Ihe water be was unable to use the same, a portion of th? time. The defendants allege that the land occupied by them at preseut was not included in the original entry by of the plainufl, the lake having receded since the entry. Several witnesses for the plaintiff were examined. The grand ju y came into court and reported that they had found three indictment. in-dictment. ..The several cases of the People' vs. James Carney, James Harrington and G C. Johnson were ignored. ig-nored. In the case of Jungk & Fabian vs. D. C.Reed.et al. the jury reported they were unable to agree and were discharged. dis-charged. . William Prescott was arraigned on a charge of housebreaking. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year's imprisonment in the penetentiarv. Robert Curry was arraigned on a charge of house breaking (at Bishop Johnson's house) and pleaded guilty. He was also sentenced to one year's imprisonment in the penetentiary. The examination of witnesses in the case of Charles Poynter vs lames Chip-man, Chip-man, et al occupied the balance of the afternoon' . THUISDAY,.
