Show AM INTERESTING DISCOVERY OF SALT. Some interesting discoveries have been made in the salt m unlaii s on the banks of the Kio Virgin, an affluent ol tbt Colorado. These mountains cover an area of 25 miles, extending to within seven miles of the junction of the two rivers, and the salt tnev contain is pure white and clearer than ordinary glass. It is said that a slab eight inches thick is so clear that a newspaper can be read through it.
