Do you realize what that meant to you at that time? Have you paid these parties yet who helped you and yours from going hungry, or have sold your interests to some automobile agent and shun the fellows who kept you alive when times were hard? Some people will read this and exclaim "bunk", but there is bound to be n, and if everyone is going auto-mobile mad something will sure-ly happen. It may take months or even years, but re-acti- on will surely occur; things can move just so fast and no faster. The camp is booming and everyone should be making the dollar, but the question is is the mon-ey being saved? If the people of this great camp learned their lesson when the last collapse came it is well, but from our personal observation we doubt very much if any serious lesson has been learned. There are many people who have mortga-ged themselves to some automo-bile dealer and they should real-ize the fact when hard times come they cannot sit at a table and live on the value of any make of car. A car, we will ad-mit, is a valued asset to any worker who toils in the mines of our camp, but we should also remember that a dollar in the bank is also handy any time a crash comes. People who spend their money ruthlessly cannot expect to get the credit they formerly got, and it seems feas-ible to take a thought for the morrow. EDITORIAL THE PESSIMIST HOWLS AGAIN Business not only in Bingham but throughout the Unitd Sta-tes is said to be good, or at least better than it was two years ago. Are you doing anything to prepare for any changes which may occur? Sudden changes are dangerous, they are usually accompanied by perils, a balloon is easily inflated and can collapse just as quickly. Do we who live in this great copper camp realized what hap-pened when the last collapse came, or would it be better to forget for the time being and continue in our quest for a good time? It is only a few years ago when hundreds of men were thrown out of employment and Musi-c- Anywhere! and everywhere this summer if you take along VictroU 50.
