Show A pleasant party y last evening ft number of the of the fourth ward assembled in the fourth ward schoolhouse to pay their respects to brother henry krumperman Krumper mau who leaves for holland to which place he goes on a mission in a few days the arrangements were ably completed under the direction of T of the young mene and president canfield of the young ladies improvement association A first class supper had been prepared by tho ladies and was served in excellent style bishop E stratford was in attendance as were also the wives of some ot those missionaries are now in their fields of labor after supper was disposed of the tables were cleared and the corn pany was entertained with a short but attractive pro gramme among those who favored the audience with an exhibition of their musical and literary talent were professors L D edwards and ole berkhoel Ber koel sir and sirs E H andorson Au dorson and misi nellio dana mr and mrs jed ballantyne mr and mrs joseph ballantyne and miss mo r rison the bourth ward choir also rendered some choice elections A short addreal was made by bishop stratford and brother krumperman briefly acknowledged the kindness expressed towards him by his brethren and sisters the party was highly successful and will doubtless be remembered with satisfaction by brother krumperman during lib absence in a foreign land |
