Salt Lake City Sunday, and most of the day was taUen up with a social programme of various features During the afternoon session Dr. Uzra C. nich of Ocden read an interesting inter-esting paper on "Extra Uterine Pregnancy." Preg-nancy." Dr. Rich dwelt upon the symptoms and frequency of extra preirnancy. and defined his meaning clearly. He spoke of the treatment necessary; on operations In such eases, when best done and tho various methods used, with some Interesting observations on nineteen operations in the last fivo years. Several interesting papers were read by prominent physicians of the lutermountaln country with discussions discus-sions by Salt Lake and Denver members. mem-bers. During the afternoon Dr, Fred W. Taylor of Provo was recommended by the nominating committee for president pres-ident of the organization for tho ensuing en-suing year and was elected. The medicos were entertained at tho tabernacle at 1 p. ra. by a special organ recital, and later were lunched at thr Commercial club. Besides Dr. Rich, Drs, R. S. Joyce, and A. S. Condon attended the sessions. |
