Show Scandinavians of Utah To Hold Celebration SALT IJVKE CITY. Utah. April 3. I The COth anniversary of the Introduction Introduc-tion of the gospel Into ScaDdlnavla by Elder Erastus Snow will be observed ob-served by tho Scandinavian saints In Utah, with a three days celebration A committee has bM?n appointed to arrango a program for the affair and i to extend an Invitation to the Scan dinavlan taints to attend. M- Mfl-sen, Mfl-sen, and they have Issued an address to the Scandinavian saints, the following fol-lowing of which Is an extract; "On tho 11th day or June. 1910, It will bo CO years since the late Elder Snow o-ned the door for proclaiming tho gospel In tho lands of our nativity. nativ-ity. It has been the custom for the Scandinavian saints to annually annual-ly celebrate the anniversary of the Introduction of the gospel Into Scandinavia Scan-dinavia by Elder Snow, and at Rlch-lleld, Rlch-lleld, where the celebration was held last year, it was decided that Salt Lake city should be the place for hold Ing the celebration In 1910. 'Accordingly, at a meeting callad by President Anthon H. Lund and hold In the office of the first presidency presiden-cy of the church on March 2, 1010, the presiding elders or the Scandinavian Scandinav-ian meetings In Salt Lake city being present. It was decided that the Scandinavian Scan-dinavian saint throughout tho Inter-mountain Inter-mountain couutry, should be invited to Join In a grand Jubilee to be held In Salt Lake city, in observance or the event, three days being devoted to th celebration, from Juno 12 to 14 Inclusive, In commemoration of tho Introduction of tho gospel Into the countries Inhabited by the Scandinavian Scandinav-ian race. And wo most earnestly urge upon presidents of Scandinavian m etlng3, presidents of quotums, blsh-opH, blsh-opH, high councilors, presidents of stakes and others, members or ofll-rej-s of the church, of Scandinavian descent, to use their Influence most diligently for creating an Interest In thl9 fitting and worthy festival.
