Show MUSICALE. - Forty guests wero delightfully entertained en-tertained Sunday evening at a mu-ficnlo mu-ficnlo given at tho pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robinson, oa Qulncy avenue. Mr. Gilbert Stuller and . Mr. Frank Bernhardt of Oregon, the guests of honor, and a number of well known local musicians furnished a program thnt afforded much enjoyment to the assembled guests. Many beautiful selections were rendered rend-ered by Mr. Stnller. who is a violinist of ability and by Mr Bernhardt, who is al.-"o a promising young musician. Solos were sung hy Mrs. Tribe. Miss Ye-ndel. Mr. McCoy and Harold Thomas Thom-as Mifs Nellie Baoon artistically rendered several sweet selections on tho guitar, Miss Bella Craig played a number of fine piano selections and Mr. Brooks pleased tho company with his rendition of some well selected cornet solos. The Impersonation of "Uncle Josh" by Mr. Brooks en costume was neat-l neat-l Iv done and convulsed the guests with laughter. Miss Nellie Bacon, dressed dress-ed In Japanese costume, sang a song In the Japanese language In a very charming manner and among a goodly good-ly number of othor pleasing features of the program was the comic reading, read-ing, "Learning to Skate." by Mrs. Robinson, and 'Bad Boys Seeing Things at Night," by Miss Martha Wardlaw. Following the program, refreshments refresh-ments wero served and a very pleasant pleas-ant social hour was spent, Mr. Stuller playlug some additional violin numbers, num-bers, accompanied by Miss Madge ljconard on the piano, before the departure de-parture of the guests. Mr. Harvey D. Bell of Chicago was ono of tho out-of-towu guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson. |
