Show EXCITING CHASE AFTERJURGIAR There la no clue as yet to tho burg ar who ransacked th house of John C, Fraln, 637 Twenty-sixth street, and who fired upon Mr. Fraln while tho latter was pursuing him In the vanity. van-ity. A pipe, which was picked up in the neighborhood yesterday and turned over to the police in the hope that It would prove to be the one stolen from the Fraln residence, was not identified. Mr. Fraln, upon returning to his home Wednesday evening, observed a light flashing about in thrj hou.ie and also found one of the windows open. Ho aroused the neighbors by tossing gravel against the upper windows win-dows and then asked them to call the police. At this moment the burglar appeared and was confronted by Mr. Frain .armed with a thin piece of bourd. Oifirer Burke, upon examining Mr. Fraln's weapon, which he had broken over the robber's head, discovered a number of black and gray hairs sticking stick-ing thereto evidently struck from the burglar's head.
