Show TWO MEN FATALLY They Are Victims of Two Murderous Assaults Chicago, Feb. 10. The police of Gary, Ind., are engaged in a man-hunt today as a result of two cases of murderous mur-derous assaults, in which three men were shot last night, two of them fatally. Michael Cigaritz, a boarding housekeeper, house-keeper, attempted to collect money for beer which he had sold to Daniel Vo-conavltch Vo-conavltch and Joseph Cigaritz, his brother. Trouble followed over the amount to be paid, and Michael Cigaritz Ci-garitz drew a revolver and shot Vo-conavltch Vo-conavltch In the abdomen. . j Going back to his shack, Cigaritz secured se-cured a rifle and returned. He then shot his brother in the groin and in turn was struck over the head with a chair. Voconavltch will dio. It is thought Joseph Cigaritz will recover. Shortlv before midnight, while Policeman Po-liceman William Marquardt was attempting at-tempting to stop a disturbance, two men sprang on him and threw him to tho ground. They succeeded In get-1 ting his club, and struck him several times over the head. He drew his revolver re-volver and shot Charles Fisher twice, once through the abdomen, and tho ther man through the arm. The uni- j dentifled man escaped.
