Show SUCCUMBED TO HEART FAILURE UNFORTUNATE MAN DIES SUDDENLY SUD-DENLY IN COUNTY JAIL Officers Unable to Learn Name or Particulars Death Came Instantaneously. An unfortunate fellow, whoe name cannot be learned at this time, visited vis-ited the office of the county physiciau yesterday afternoon suffering from a bad case of heart trouble. Dr. Pld-cock Pld-cock gave htm medical aid and told him to go to the sheriffs office where ho would be taken care of until such time as it could be arranged for him to be sent to the hospital, if his condition con-dition warranted such order, lie made his way to the county court house and was received at the sheriff's office where he was given quarters. The man had been in the county quarters only a sort time when he was Beized with heart failure and almost al-most before he could be given aid passed to the great beyond. Death was almost Instantaucuiis, no particular partic-ular indication of his precarious condition con-dition being given until he fell limp and dead upon tho jail floor. A search of the man's clothing disclosed dis-closed no evidence of his identity whatever. There was not a thing in his pockets to give the officers the least Idea as to who ho might be. The body was ordered taken to the undertaking parlors, there to be held until some information as to who he Is may be learned. He was a man of about 25 years of age and, according to the statements ho made to Dr. Pldcock, was "just an ordinary tramp." He stated to tho doctor that he had been suffering from heart failure for a number of months and that ho had recently made his way from California, hoping the change of climate would better his physical condition. con-dition. He also stated that his original origin-al home .was In Missouri where his parents and relatives live. Nothing further regarding the identity of the young man Is yet known. His clothing cloth-ing was carefully searched, but the only things that could be found ii them were a razor, a tea spoon, a lead pencil and a few cigarettes. |
