Show MASONS HONOR TAFT They Have TenderedHim Privilege of Becoming One of Them at Sight Cincinnati, Feb. 2. The grand master mas-ter of Ohio Masons, Charles S. Hop-klnson Hop-klnson of Zanesville, has tendered t William Howard Taft the rare and high honor of being made a Mason at flight. Judge Taft has accepted and will return re-turn to Cincinnati on Thursday, Feb. 18, when the grand master will cn;-, Yc-ne a distinguished company of Mas-eons Mas-eons in the Scottish Rite Cathedr.il and exercise the high prerogative which belongs only to a grand master of Masons. This honor is so rarely conferred that there Is but a single Instance ot it on record in the one hundred year? history of Masonry in Ohio when in 1892. Asa R. Bushnell of Springfield was made a Mason at sight. In addition addi-tion to prominent Ohio Masons, Invitations Invi-tations will be sent to the grandmasters grandmas-ters of all other states in the union. |
