She became be-came oxasperated over this condition of affairs and proceeded to exercise her authority in the matter. The other oth-er woman in the affray was Anna Lyons, who, it appears, had won tho afTectlons of Mr. Jackson. Tho door of tho room being locked. Mrs. Jackson forced her way Into the apartments and administered blows upon blows to the naughty husband and hla paramour. She used all the available weapons in the room, among which were the wash bowl and pitcher, pitch-er, looso chairs and other pieces of furniture. Officer Vance was called to quell tho meleo. The parties implicated im-plicated in th affray were arrested and taken to the station, where Mr. Jackson and Anna' Lyona wero charged with an offense and Mrs. Jackson was held as witness in the case. |
