OCR Text	Show Status of the Hindu The Hindu is brown, but practically all authorities agree that he is a member mem-ber of a subdivision of the white or Caucasian race. As far as the United States government is concerned, how ever, a Hindu Is not a white person, the Supreme court having ruled to that effect on February 19, 1923.
