They were made to attend the funeral of a traffic victim. Traffic Judge Sawicki, in passing out his sentence, said he intended it ;us an object lesson to reckless motorists. Tho six who were scntenn-d had hecn arrested on various eharge of violating the traffic ordinances, but had nothing to do with tho death of the child whoso funeral they were forced to attend The victim was 7-year-old Catherine Gilmore, who was killed by a speeding automobile in front of her home.
