Show oo BANNOCK COUNTY CROPS UNDERWAY P CATELI-. . Idaho. May 89. Great impetus has been given to tho growth of crops tlunn;; the last W6i k by the warm weather and rains! throughout Bannock county. Plow-; ing is nearly completed, wheat is in and beets and alfalfa arc in excellent excel-lent condition. The report from Cassia county Shows that the hall of May 18 did more damage than was first believed. Beets and grain were slightly Injured in tho Twin Falls section. The Trull ir-.s are in blos-som all along tho lower Snake river section and the report re-port from Minidoka county shows most of the seeding done the winter grain looking fine Potato"- are planted and the beets are up and being be-ing cultivated. The grass is starting slowly in the Aberdeen section, but the last rain will be beneficial to all growth. Most of the potatoes and beets are planted there Tho trees are in full leal, with blooms starting, and some irrigation irriga-tion has started in the American Ifalls e Hon of Power county Cherries. plUms and pears are blossoming at Blackfoot, Bingham county, and the range is good. There are still some snowdrifts on i Little Camas prairie in BSlmore COUp-ty, COUp-ty, but the range Is starting. Sty. ,; will be turned on the range this week OO |
