The official Inauguration Inaug-uration of the Scabbard and Rlade. a national hononr military fraternity, was held at the Utah Agricultural college col-lege Sunday. Colonel Arthur S. Rurkett. of Columbus Co-lumbus Ohio, presented th' ch.utei to the Institution and officiated In the Initiations. Out of approximately 27 western colleges that applied for char-1 ters only two were granted this year one at the L". A. C and one at an Institution In the Dakotas Unly commissioned R. O. T C. officers of-ficers arc eligible to membership. At the initiations h. Id Sunday President Presi-dent E. G Peterson. Major A C. Sullivan and Captain Charles Cballis were given honorary membership in the fraternity.
