Show OAKLAHOMA GUARD BARS KLAN MEMBERS OKLAHOMA CITY. April 24. A general order directed specifically against the Ku Klux Klan and declaring declar-ing that there Is no room In the Oklahoma Okla-homa national guard for any officer or man who owes an allegiance to any power secret organization, or society that might become arraigned against the United States or the state of Oklahoma, Ok-lahoma, and Its laws was Issued here by Governor J. B. A. Robertson, and made public Sunday. The order sots out that what pur- ports to be proof that a number of officers of-ficers of the guard hold membership 1 . in the Ku Klux Klan and declares that ; no member of the" national guard "con I afford to Stultify himself or bring the service under suspicion by swearing 1 .llleKliince to an organization that at any time may conic under the ban of the law and reiulre the services of the guard to suppress." Adjutant General Barrett said that thus far only one officer has been dl-rectly dl-rectly Involved In alleged Ku Klux Klan activities. He has been relieved |
