Show BAD CHECK JOB ENDS IN ARREST Within IS minutes after they pass-! ed an alleged fictitious check upon the Ogden State bank here this morning. T. W, Weaver, Jti. machinist, and F. a HiJei, 24, salesman, both of Salt Iike, were arrested by Sheriff Rich- 1 : i r . I Plncock and Deputy sheriff Fred Tout and placed in fhe county Jail. The men were caught by the officers i Just u thej were boarding a train for Salt Lake at the Bamberger depot. The men appeared at the bank and' presented a check for $5 drawn on the Iieseret National bank of Salf Lake! After they bad lett the teller became j suspicions and telephoned the Salt Lake bank and found the men had no account there. The teller then noti- i fled Sheriff PI ncOC.lt and wlfhln a few minutes the men were in jail. oo |
