Show 12 HOSPITALS FOR SOLDIERS BILL'S OBJECT r Measure Calls for Expenditure Expendi-ture of $17,000,000 for Institutions WASHINGTON. May 4 Erection of 12 soldier hospitals at a cost of J 1 7.000,000 and with a total capacity of 5,4 TtO beds is provided for in a bill reported today by the house appio-priatioiuj appio-priatioiuj committee. The facilities proposed to be acquired, ac-quired, with approximate cost figures, as outlined to the committee by Director Di-rector Forbes of the veterans' bureau include: I District No. 12. California Arizona and Nevada, tuberculosis cases. BOO beds, $1,500,000. District No. IS, Washington. Idaho 'and Oregon, neuro-psyehlatrlc cases. I beds, $760,000. No provision was made for additional addi-tional estimates in district No. 11, comprising New Mexico. Colorado, Utah, facilities are already there or being described as adequate.
