Show oo PLEADS GUILTY TO TAKING GIRL S COAT Julia Davis, charged with petit lar- j Iceny by having stolen a coat belonging! to Jane Doe Ohristensen from a local Idance hall, pleaded guilty in the city1 court this morning. Judge Holther deferred passing sentence until later. Miss Davis told the court that she 'suddenly became 111 while at the dance1 She endeavored to find her coat, but 'could not locate the garment. Feeling ,thal she would have to leave the hall Immediately or fall in a faint, she took 1 another coat hanging nearly and de-l I parted. Not knowing how to return the coat which she had taken, MLs-i i Davis says she wore It on two occa-'' islons. hoping that tho owner would see It and claim It. She waa arrested Saturday night while leaving the Og-1 den theatre. She was wearing the coat , at the time of her arrest, tho police ' say. ! |
