Show CARD LAYERS FREED BY JURY After being out about five minutes the Jury In the rase of the City against John Wilson. Harry Peters and William Wil-liam Barton, charged with playing cards behind closed door.i in a zoom about 2358 Washington avenue, returned re-turned a verdict of not guilty, yesterday yester-day afternoon In the city court. The defendants testified that while one door was locked It was a door .that had neer been used and that the entrance en-trance was to the room by way of a door farther down the hallway and that they had called to the officers to go to he other door and finally went to the door and opened i. Detective Byphers testified that they were playing stud-poker but under cross-examination he said that was what he thought they were playing. It was also brought out that a man by the name of Carl Johnson, a relative rela-tive by marriage of Detective Jones was also In the room and was not ar-rested. ar-rested.
