Show BILL OFFERED TO KIDS House Measure Aims to Authorize and Regulate Chiropractic SALT LAKE. Jan 22. A measure designed to authorise and regulate Chlropractli in Utah was introduced .in the house yesterdaj by Wilford Day of Iron county. The measure, which is house bill No. 20, was received and referred to the committee cn public health. Eleven provisions, several of which It Is thought will put an end to further fur-ther litigation that has ai times threatened threat-ened the life of chiropractic in Utah, are contained In the original draft of the measure These are: To author? lie und regulate the practice of ohi-ropracttc ohi-ropracttc to provide for the examination examina-tion and McenfliiK ol i-hlropractors. to create a state board of examination and registration, to provide for the appoiptroent of same,, to ,stab!lsh rules and regulations governing, ."aid board, to provide curriculum to establish s fee for examinations, to provide for the disposal of the fund from said fee to regulate the holding of meetings meet-ings al said hoard and issuance of license li-cense to practice chiropractic, to provide penalty for practicing without with-out a license as provided in this act, and to repeal all acts in conflict here-1 with. ' The bill calls tor the creation of a board of five practicing chiropractors Of integrity and abllltv. who arc not medical doctors surgeons, osteopaths or members of any other branch of lh healing art.
