Show accident at hie file depot on tuesday evening mr air heig henry brunker Brunk cr of north ogden met wit with an accident at the 17 P railway depot he was in the employ of ar mr sidney elevens stevens and was hauling a portable engine to the railroad to put it on the cars for ship shipment ment brunker ivas was bitting on a spring seat which was placed on the engine and when lie arrived at the depot lie undertook to drive under a bridge leading on the platform near the track this would have been all right had lie descended from froin his seat sent and walked under tha framework but notwithstanding ding that ho lie w was as raised too high bih he thou thought 9 lit ho lie could retain hia his seat eat and drive under with safety ho ile made the attempt against the remonstrant of his friends when part way under he was pressed against the tipper framework which also alto pressed the body downward to a dangerous condition after passing underneath the bridge the tle spring seat was raised with ft a sudden jerk and this motion threw brunker to the ground he lie fell about five on his back H he e received a bruise over the right ayo ya and some internal injuries the tile man was taken to the hospital south of the city where he be waa exan examined lined by dra drs wm L acin tyro lyre and E G williams and proper remedies were applied for his recovery the patient is now under the caro care of mr L waldram from whom he is s sure to receive receive every care and attention air mr sidney St stevens everli visited the hospital today to day and found brunker was do ingwell |
