Show coughs and colds the recent atmospheric changes have subjected tho the people here to much sick sickness nees the searching cold winds and the drifting snows have found their way through the smallest crevices in houses and doors and the chilling effects have been severely felt by the innia inmates tes man many y of whom are now suffering from colds and coughs which almost throw some of them into convulsions quite ft a number are confined to their beds some confined ta to the house while othera others are fighting by remedies and force of their strong willi wills they are determined not to succumb if they can help it our people have not until recently been accustomed in this attitude of witnessing so much cold wet weather aa as we have seen during a short period in the past and the damp I chilly atmosphere lias has rendered reni them inore susceptible to cold produced by the frequent sudden changes and hence we believe this to be the chief cause of so much sickness at the present time E everybody V ery body now has a bad cold we hope to see a change for the better soon |
