The or-ganized or-ganized butchers, of this city have sub-t mitted to their employers a demand, that tea be served to them at 9a. m.l daily and that they be allowed 10 mln- utos of company time in which to drink it. They also ask for 10 min-' utes in the morning to don their butcher clothes and 10 more at night' to dress for the street. j These demands are made part of a' proposed renewal of tho working agreement drawn up by the Amalgamated Amalga-mated Meat Cutters and Butchers. Workmen. Other requests are for a i 1-hour weok and a wago increase averaging 50 per cent. Packing plant' managers declare these terms cannot! be granted.
