Show Hold Funeral for ; Mrs. Ened P. Malan Funeral services for Ened Pearse Malan, wife of Parley Q. Malan, were conducted yesterday at tho Twelfth ward chapel by Bishop's Counselor George Poulter. H. A. Dixon and William Manning sang a duet. A chorus from the kindergarten kin-dergarten department of the Sunday school sang. "I'm a Pilgrim" was sung by H. A. Dixon; "Sometime We'll Understand," Un-derstand," Mrs. Lorene Snyder; "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," ward choir. Speakers were President O. D. Rom-ney, Rom-ney, formerly of the New Zealand mis sion; Dr. H. C. Holbrook of Salt Lake; Glen Wright, Eishop T. B. Wheelwright Wheel-wright and Thomas A. Shreeve. Pallbearers were former New Zealand Zeal-and missionaries: M. Charles Wood, Glen Wright, Frank Foulger, O. D. Romney, Bon Young and Bishop Wil-mer Wil-mer Maw. Airs. jiaian uiea Wednesday morning morn-ing following the birth of a son. She was an active worker in the New Zealand mission beforo coming to Utah. After her marriage two years ago she became active in the Twelfth ward, taking part in the choir and Sunday school work. Surviving her are Mr. Malan, her son and two stepdaughters; her father, Frank Pearse, Frank H. Pearse, a brother; and the following sisters: Mrs. Annie Thomas, Mrs. Ivy Bern, New Zealand; Mrs. F. O. Labrune, Murray; Mrs H. B Wheelwright, and Miss Kathleen Pearse of Ogden. er . |
