Before Its adoption, our Constitution ..R was carefully considered and widel ; lH debated by all of the people. These I fH discussions continued for more than a 'EH year and afforded an opportunity for tho freest expression . of opinion from every citizen and every social grroup in our country. Our Constitution Is our great birthright. birth-right. Jealousy to safeguard Its fundamental structure, and thus preserve pre-serve for ourselves and posterity the advantages enjoyed under It. is the sacred duty and high privilege of every citizen of the United States. |
