Show Danced Her Way Into Pictures Pic-tures Via the Follies Mac Murray, the pretty film actress who has scored recently In "On With the Lance" and "The Klght to Love," made an unexpected debut into motion pictures. I tor act opened with the showing of a few feet of film in Whch Miss M urray-v wns depleted i unnlng down the aisle of the theatre to the stage. At this point the curtain cur-tain lifted nnd disclosed the dancer in person standing before the footlights' In Identically the same costume that 'she wor.' on the screen I It happened thut on the opening I night of the Follies several film producers pro-ducers were present. All of them Inoted the excellent manner in which , Miss Murray screened and saw possibilities possi-bilities In her as a photoplay actress.' The result was that the following : morning she received no less than five offers to appear In motion pictures. She accepted the one made by Ai'olph Zukor, because the picture Which he b id In mind for her. "Sweet Kitty Bel-l.iirs." Bel-l.iirs." was her favorite story. Miss Murray Is at present appearing with David Powell In George 1'ltz-, 1'ltz-, maurlce productions.
