Weber club anrl Weber county farm bureau, a committee was appointed and authorized author-ized first to !n-tigate where addl-P addl-P tional water could be had and stored and to make the necessary filings to protect the Interests of th land owners own-ers of Weber county, and second to Investigate the best means of organization organi-zation to 6lorc and make deliveries of tho noccasarv water. 1 LJXGS MADE "As a result of the investigation the following filings for the land owners of Weber county wen made Three hundred and fifty second feet of water from Bear River; A reservoir site at Magpie to empound 25.00U acre feet of water. Reservoir site at Marsh Lake j for 2o.00' acre feet water. I Power filing on South Fork for 4.000 horse power. 'After fully Investigating various schemes for a permanent organization, a company formed by capitalists, a corporation formed by Irrigation companies com-panies and the creation of an Irrigation Irriga-tion district it wan decided that the first two were Impracticable and that the latter was the only means by which the needed water could be successfully suc-cessfully secured These three propositions pro-positions were placed before thr land owners of the county and their representatives rep-resentatives who authorised that the necessary stops be taken to organize a district. GOVERNOR SIGNS PETITION "Governor Bamberger was prevailed to sign the petition peti-tion proposing the irrigation district for Weber county. The county commissioners took favorable action upon the petition and requested J the state engineer to make a water allotment- This allotment was completed com-pleted in April, 1920 County commissioners com-missioners sat as a board of nuallza-tlon nuallza-tlon to make any adjustments for land owners.
