Parkinson, supervisor super-visor for tho Wasatch national forest, who is in Ogden today, the Summit county people are in favor of a road which will extend through Weber canyon can-yon and up the Weber river to Hay-den's Hay-den's Fork,, near the headwaters of the Bear river. Wyoming, and will pi-oD.iDiy cause tno Lincoln Highway association to construct a connecting link between Oakley and Evanston, thus eliminating a stretch of highway that holds little scenic interest, j Districi Engineer J. P. Martin says I the road would open resources and recreational advantages unsurpassed by any in the state. Due to appropriations for this year being allotted to other roads, it is not known whether or not the forest service serv-ice will co-operate with Summit county coun-ty in extending the road along the Weber river to Oakley. This road would be approximately 3 Gmiles long fifteen miles of which would extend into the Wasatch national forest. It Is possible that the stale road commis sion and the Lincoln Highway association associa-tion will co-operate in the matter ol constructing the highway.
