The street department ha,s made preparations prep-arations to cope with possible flood water that might rosult from the thaw. Considerable discomfiture of several Ogdenites was experienced about town today when snow, falling Ir. miniature min-iature storms from street signs, either smothered thorn with a mass of slush or narrowly escaped hitting them. One person narrowly escaped Injury when a mass of ice, released by the warm weather from Its precarious hanging, crashed to the sidewalk. The ice narrowly nar-rowly missed tho pedestrian, and the noise of the ice smashing against the pavement, caused the near victim to exhibit signs of fright. oo |
