The writer, who does rot disclose his identity or give a very plausible story, says: "Dear Editor, Ogden Standard: I have just read the accounts of the finding of the misterous dirty collar and as I know all about it I have decided decid-ed to write you so that their will be no more worry over it. "I wrote on the collar myself in idle moments at home. The collar was llelng on the table and as I had out my pen I Just picked it up and wrote the first things that came to my mind. Using the initials and names I thought of first then, as a friend called, 1 wrapped it in a paper and put it in my pocket absentmindly. On the cor. of Madison & 25th I fell It and merely pulled It out and threw it awav. And so comes the misterous collar. I am verv snrrv that I caused so much trou- hie and worry and had I discovered it -ooner I would have wrote. "As 1 am ashamed of the foolish thing I did unthinkly I wand to keep my indenty seceret now that you know i hat it is nothing of important 1 hope l ou will relieve the minds of the police and public.
