KNIGHTSOFWBUS Arrangt ments are under way to se cure the mezzanine floor of the Hotel I Utah for the exemplification of the fourth degree of the Knights of Columbus, Co-lumbus, according to Charles A. Mr-'iuire, Mr-'iuire, district manager of the fourth degree for Utah. Idaho and Nevada. The affair will lake place October 12 , The Salt Lake assembly of the fourth degree met yesterday in the council rooms of the Hotel Utah and perfected arrangements for Columbus lay ceremonies. Over a hundred candidates can-didates are expected from all parts of I 'ah to take the degree. Among those who will fake part In th day's ceremonies will be the Most Rev. Edward J Hanna, D. D., orch- bishop of San Francisco; the Rt. Rev, John p! Carrol, I. D , bishop of Helena, Mont., and the Rt. Rev. Joseph Glass. C. M i D., bishop of Salt Lake. The ceremonies will commence with the celebration of a solemn pontifical mass in the Cathedral of the Madeleine Made-leine in the morning, followed bv the degree exemplification, A banquet In honor of the candidates and the dls-Llnguipbed dls-Llnguipbed visitors will be held in the 01 ening.
