Show Motor Guns to Be Part of Exhibit of Wild West Show SALT LAKE. June 16 The motor run exhibit of the United States army, the most complete rollerttion of motorized mo-torized ordnance in the world, will arrive ar-rive by special train in Salt Lake at 10 o'clock this morning under the direct di-rect charge of Captain F E Booth (The exhibit ma be held in Salt Lake throughout the Rotary convention and will be contributed as one of the fe r ures to the wild west exhibit at ih'.-state ih'.-state fair grounds beginning June 19. Before that date it is planned to present pre-sent the exhibit with the purpose of imprescln? the Rotarians with the ordnance ord-nance from an educattional stand point. There was some doubt relative to the length of lime that the motor ex bibit would be permitted to remain ;n Salt Lake, but yesterday forenoon President Will c; Farrell eommunicat-eu eommunicat-eu with Colonel W. E Capron of Denver, Den-ver, director of tho exhibit with the Denver Tractor show. Tolonel Tapr :n informed Mr. Farrell that the motor gun exhibit la at the disposal of the Kotarians throughou the week. Immediately Imme-diately Professor Farrell communicat ed with the Ogden wild west comnii-tee comnii-tee and arrangements were made to make the motor gun feature one of the most spectacular exhibits of the con ventiton. Captain Booth will be in Salt Lake this forenoon with six motor gun experts ex-perts This exhibition will include the following ordnance One two and one-half one-half ton tractor, one five ton tractor with seventy fie millimeter gun towing, tow-ing, one ten-ton artillery tractor with one fifty-five millimeter howitzer, one t-eventy-five millimeter gun, self-pro-pelllng mount, one ton tank, one three-ton tank, one threeinch gun trailer. oo |
