Show Peach Day Plans In Brigham Being Arranged BRIGHAM CITY, Aug. 13 The people peo-ple of Brigham ity are acUvel i n-gaged n-gaged iu preparing an elaborate pro giani lor the celebration of Peach Day, Wednesday September 3 Manager W. L. Hoist has just returned from Sail Fake City, where he spent two days negotiating with different parties to stage exhibitions here on the annual an-nual day of !'estivit Arrangements were made with "Dia raond ' Dick Evans while Mr Hols! was in Salt Fake to bring his wild west show here for the day Evans is the man who has staged numerous wild west shows at Cheyenne, Wyo , and has also exhibited at the state fialr-grounds fialr-grounds in Salt Lake. His features consist of wild horse riding, roping wild steers, bulldogging steer.- and numerous other events of a hair-rais-, ing nature. Negotiations also were entered into i to obtain government airplanes to exhibit ex-hibit here for the day Senator King and Congressman Welling ha e ad-1 ad-1 vised Mr Hoist that every effort will ; be put forth to secure the exhibition jfor Brigham City. A baseball game between two cham pion clubs will be staged for a good su.ed purse. In addition to these attractions, at-tractions, others are being arranged in order to irno tho visitors ample entertainment en-tertainment while they are the guests of the city. |
