America's most famous woman publicist and journalist, will come directly to Ogden from Paris, where she has been engaged as a Journalist during the peace congress and will deliver her first address recording her Impressions Impress-ions on the world conditions when she appears on the iqden Chautauqua platform, was made today by F. E. Lukens. director of the assembly, who Is in Ogden to remain until tho closing session on Sunday, June 22 The address by Miss Tarbell is expected ex-pected to be the most important feature fea-ture of the Chautauqua weok and, as the famous speaker comes direct to Ogden from Europe, her presence here will probably attract much attention throughout the country Her subject at Ogden will be 'The United States at 'he Peace Conference." Director Lukens says that the other; speakers on national and international subjects have caused much interest at other places on tho Chautauqua cir- ult. Dr. Joseph 'Jlare, the pastor of the Petrograd British -American onurch until the Bolshevisms came into power, will speak on "The Riddle of the Rus-Sian Rus-Sian Revolution"; Edward F. Trefs, formely of the food administration, will discuss "And Now What"" and W L. Mellinger will have as his subject: sub-ject: "Misunderstood Mexico.' War! topics will be discussed by Private Peat, who will give his famous lec ture on "Two Years in Hell and Back With a Smile." and Henry' W arren Poor .who was a war correspondent at Ihe close of the conflict, will speak on "Closing Days of the War." These lectures lec-tures form the principal addresses that Will be given during the Chautauqua, which opens next Sunday. |
