Show IMPERSONATING . OFFICER IN YARDS A. G. West, a young man giving his address as 121 West Twenty-sixth street, was arrested Saturday night by Detective L. W. Hob son and booked at the city Jail on a charge of imperso nating an officer. It Is alleged that he wa in the south end of the railroad yards and acting aasplciou-dv around box cars. It is alleged that when railroad man asked him what right he had to investigate the contents of freight car, he replied that he was an officer and was "looking for something." some-thing." He tried to explain why he could not be arrested, but his explanation explana-tion did not operate freely and he was placed In the city Jail where he will wait until tomorrow morning to tell iht Judge hJU at orj. |
