San Antonio, Texas, according to report re-port made to Dr. Joseph E. Paycroft, head of the Athletic Division of the War Department Commission on Training Camp activities by Bud Goodwin, Good-win, the camp athletic director. v In his report, Director Goodwin estimates es-timates that 11.S10 soldiers took part in the 590 games that were played officially of-ficially In the camp in July. This figure, fig-ure, he declares, is greatly supplemented supple-mented by many informal contests engaged en-gaged in by the soldiers and easily brings the dally average of games played at the camp to twenty-five. oo |
