April 24 The Swiss government has decided not to press Its claim of Swiss citizenship for Dr. Karl Muck, formerly leader of the Boston Symphony orchestra, now interned at Fort Oglethrope, Ga , as a dangerous German This eliminates all danger of complications with Switzerland Switzer-land over the case. The Swiss minister, Hans Suizer, feels satisfied, it was said today, that Muck repeatedly claimed German i Itl zenship and consequently the United States was justified in interning him. The precise nature of the government's govern-ment's evidence against Dr. Muck may be made public shortly. |
