Show 0. D. M'KAY GIVEN IMPORTANT TASK By appointment of State Chairman Heber J. Grant, D. D. McKay of Hunts -ville has been appointed chairman of tho Agricultural division of the fourth Liberty loan campaign. As Mr. McKay Mc-Kay Is president of tho state farm bureau, he will work through that me- dlum to give the movement extensive idvortiBlng to practically every farm-1 er in the state. 1 President McKay will not solicit tho' sale of the bonds directly as that will ! bo left to tho various county committees commit-tees already appointed. He will urge tho farmers In bulletins and letters to support the government and the allied arm'es by the purchase of Liberty ' bonds. Headquarters for the movement will bo established at the offices of the Weber We-ber county farm bureau at the federal building. Mr. McKay oxprossed confidoncc last night that tho farmers are already J aware of the importance of this move ment as they are to the needs of in-creased in-creased production which they have so ably supported during tho last year. nn |
