Show COUNTY HAS RECEIVED CREDIT FOR fiLL BUSTED Reports to the effect that Weber county had not .been credited with all enlistments of men in the draft wns emphatically denied today by Chairman Chair-man William Lowder of the Weber county exemption board. Mr. Lowder stated that many people in the county had expressed much dissatisfaction because of what they thought conditions condi-tions to be, but that Weber county had been given credit for every man who has voluntarily enlisted since June 5. 1917, and that credit had applied ap-plied on the quota levied against the county in making drafts. It was thought by many people for some time, he said ,that the city had been given all credit for enlistments because the men usually enlisted in the recruiting stations located In the city. This was wrong, he said, because be-cause all of these enlistments had been checked up through the adjutant general's office and the credit placed in favor of the county. |
