Trading during today's professional stock market mar-ket centered in half a dozen popular i issues, notably shippings and steels.1 Marine preferred was the most un-' stable feature, breaking 3 points at! the outset, rallying substantially and I again reacting. United States Steel' was firm for a time with peace shares, I but fell back sharply later on the: weakness of other industrials, equip-' ments and oils, particularly Baldwin Locomotive, Sludebaker and Mexican Petroleum. Rails were dull but in- dined to yield and coppers denoted! moderate pressure. The closing was heavy. Sales approximated 300.000 shares. NEW YORK, 'Nov. 16.
