Show jSOLDIER HMIL ' IS fl NECESSITY' i Ediior Standard, Dear Sir: In your editorial today you say that General . Pershing suggests that relatives write often to the boys over Iherc. This is' very good advice, but my opinion s', that the letters araw rittcn in plenty.; The trouble has been in getting them ; over there. ' J In our letter from the boy recpived: the 7th inst.. he says: "I have receivr, ed no mail from you since July S." The facts are that we write one or inorc letters every week and not one 1 in ten ever reachs him. No packages sent ever reached him. I do not know-that know-that we are any exception. ' Now that the fighting is over let us, hope that a little more attention cam be given to the mail. j Very respectfully, i THOMAS BRADLEY, 114-1 Twenty-First St. |
